This Wednesday, millions of users around the world reported service failures on the social networks Facebook and Instagram and the messaging app Whatsapp, all of them owned by Meta, according to the technical reporting website Downdetector. "We know that some people had problems accessing our applications," Meta said on social network the incidence. Meta did not clarify what could have been the cause of these service interruptions in its networks.

Some users came to X to see if others were also experiencing problems. “I thought my cell phone was no longer working,” said a user on that social network.
