Alyzée could well simplify the daily lives of many. This is not the name of a life aid but of a chair that allows users to sit, stand and move around without much effort. The first ten to be marketed will go throughout France. But all are assembled in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines).
“I welded the brakes this morning,” describes Clément Blanchard, president of the start-up Upper. The 24-year-old man takes care of assembling certain parts for the first ten orders for his chair. He is leading this entrepreneurial project with his friend from the Autun military high school (Saône-et-Loire), Yannis Ksantini, a young man from Vernon (Eure).
