After having set a first foot in the fields of aromatic plants, in 2016, by purchasing the Serraval estate, in Haute-Savoie, Clarins is moving up a gear. The family group created in 1954 by Jacques Courtin has just acquired a new plot of land of 150 hectares at the end of February, including 50 hectares of arable land, near Nîmes (Gard). The goal of this 10 million investment:

explains Virginie Courtin, representative, for two years, of the third generation, at the helm of the cosmetics champion.
The group is thus accelerating its vertical integration, by itself ensuring a third of the production of the plants necessary for the manufacture of its products. An important element in its upscaling strategy.
