Frank Elstner, inventor of “Wetten, dass…?” fell ill with Parkinson’s in 2019. Now his daughter spoke up - she spoke openly about Elstner's health.
Baden-Baden – Frank Elstner (81) belongs to the TV landscape like no other. After all, as the inventor of “Wetten, dass…?”, the 81-year-old has shaped the evening television program for many generations. The former presenter of “A little fun must be” has now retired. But Frank Elstner is fighting against his body away from the show stage - he is seriously ill. Now his daughter Enya (26) revealed how the TV legend is doing.

Frank Elstner shaped television like no other. He celebrated great triumphs with numerous TV shows - but in 2019 he moved people with a very private matter. The star spoke publicly about his Parkinson's disease. However, Frank Elstner is doing well despite the illness, his daughter Enya has now revealed. In an interview with

she said: “My dad is doing great, he is in great shape and, as always, motivates us all to take long walks and excursions.”
It seems as if Frank Elstner feels significantly better thanks to the whole body therapy. In addition to being outdoors, he also plays table tennis, boxing and travels around the world. Parkinson's disease is a brain dysfunction. It occurs especially in older people and limits the ability to move. The exact triggers of the disease are still not fully understood.

“The coolest guy”: Frank Elstner’s daughter publicly thanks her father
No wonder his daughter loves her father very much. She also repeatedly shows on Instagram that her father is very important to her. In November 2019 she shared several snapshots with Elstner and wrote underneath: “The coolest guy I know is my dad. Thank you for giving me and many others so much love.” Fans were thrilled by the duo and left numerous red heart emojis and virtual thumbs ups.
