Easter impressions from the district

2024-04-04T08:28:18.184Z

Highlights: Easter impressions from the district. Despite the storm and rain, over 200 children took part in making Easter nests. The Easter Bunny once again received active support from Stephanie Brunner and Miriam Wagner from the support association of the St. Peter and Paul parish kindergarten in Olching. The delicious quark bunnies decorated with raisins as eyes and noses and the little chocolate Easter bunny miraculously disappeared for many children during the break. This year, water bubbled under the colorful crown again, which was missing last year due to the dried up Gröbenbach.

District - Whether in a small group with the family or at a barbecue with friends - the district celebrated Easter at the weekend. There was a lot of baking and decorating in advance, and you can see a few impressions of it here.

Special Easter

AID's P6 Neo, a contact and meeting place for addicts and their relatives in Hasenheide Fürstenfeldbruck, is always happy about social commitment. This time, recovery companion Holger Jahns really lobbied his friend Arafat. So there was a wonderful and successful Easter. In addition to a lunch of bread rolls and potato salad, Arafat, his wife and his team organized a raffle to everyone's delight. He and his team from “Bodyart by Arafat” from Fürstenfeldbruck provided a total value of 200 euros, divided into three vouchers. The winners were very happy.

This year the Easter Bunny once again received active support from Stephanie Brunner (left) and Miriam Wagner from the support association of the St. Peter and Paul parish kindergarten in Olching. Two large Easter nests made children's eyes shine.

Delicious Easter surprises

To the children's great joy, the Easter Bunny came to the elementary school at Gernerplatz in Puchheim on the penultimate day before the Easter holidays. The delicious quark bunnies decorated with raisins as eyes and noses and the little chocolate Easter bunny miraculously disappeared for many children during the break.

Colorful Easter decorations

The Maisach Women's Union decorated the trees in front of the town hall together with the children from the Maisach school kindergarten. The children painted Easter eggs colorfully and were then allowed to hang them on the trees themselves. They were even allowed to climb the large ladder.

Blessed palm bushes

Colorful ribbons fluttered on the many beautiful palm bushes made of box and pussy willow as the children from the St. Elisabeth kindergarten moved into the parish church in Esting. Numerous parents, siblings and grandparents were already waiting for them there. Parish administrator Josef Steindlmüller explained to the children in simple words what Jesus experienced when he entered Jerusalem. Finally, Pastor Steindlmüller blessed the palm branches.

Lots of Easter baskets

The Easter nest crafting by the Free Voters of Maisach was once again a complete success. FW parliamentary group leader Gottfried Obermair (left), FW chairman Alfred Hirsch (middle) and FW local councilor Hermine Reitmayr (right) were particularly pleased that, despite the bad weather, well over 200 children took part in making Easter nests.

Easter egg hunt with umbrellas

Gusty winds, rain and snow showers - but the Easter Bunny was back at the ring playground in Olching and hid small chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies on behalf of the SPD local club. And of course there was also something really healthy: carrots, in our area yellow beets. Despite the most adverse weather conditions, many parents and children once again went looking for Easter surprises at the ring game in Neu-Esting on Palm Sunday. Over 60 participants had a lot of fun and joy in this centuries-old pre-Easter custom - reason enough for us to organize an Easter egg hunt again in 2025, as SPD city councilors Martina Strauss and Fabian Greim explained.

Just in time for Easter, the Eichenau Easter Crown of the Women's Union can be admired again on the town hall meadow. This year too, the Eichenau Women's Union is decorating the Easter crown with blue and yellow ribbons as a sign of solidarity. The Easter crown, traditionally decorated with colorful eggs and bows, can be viewed as usual on the town hall lawn until April 9th.

Hardworking hobbyists

Members and guests of the Maisach fruit and horticultural association met on March 23rd in the Spicker family's Aussiedlerhof to do crafts. Under the guidance of course leader Sabine Metzger, individual vine nests were made to suit the season.
