MEP Pierre Larrouturou is launching his list for the European elections on June 9, with his Nouvelle Donne movement, the small Allons Enfants party and personalities from civil society, he announced Thursday in a press release. This collective, called
“Change Europe”

, wants to encourage left-wing voters and young people to vote, by offering them

Among these, imposing
“the separation of deposit banks and investment banks”

by changing the rules for calculating the price of electricity, by lowering VAT on basic necessities and by taxing superprofits, as in Spain. He also proposes
“to move towards the generalization of an autonomy allowance for all 18-25 year olds”

He also recommends providing Europe with a large Climate Bank, which
would “put 300,000 billion each year on the table”
to accelerate the ecological transition. Finally, he defends the idea of a pan-European referendum so that the European treaties are submitted to the people. In 2019, Nouvelle Donne joined forces with the PS, Place Publique and the PRG. For next June, PS and Place Publique have left together, but the PRG has made its own list with several other small parties.
