Oberland Automobile Grünwald

“I came to Sebastian Kuhn when I was 18 and was finally allowed to drive alone. My first car was a mini convertible. If something small was broken, for example on the rim, it was always repaired quickly here. The workshop is not committed to any brand and is very familiar. Sebastian and his team are always in a good mood. Good, transparent work and reliable appointments for drop-off and pick-up. If something doesn't work, he has advice."

Clean Car Care Dachau

“I sometimes go to wash and vacuum my car, like everyone else. But here we prepare it thoroughly! This workshop cleans and cleans everything down to the smallest corner. This is particularly helpful if you have upholstery made of a special material. I love getting my car shaped there in the spring. Small repairs, such as scratches, dents or even damage to the leather, are also carried out there. And the prices remain reasonable.

Alpine Store and Workshop

“Regardless of whether it’s a tire change, service or reconfiguration, I go to the Alpine workshop on Frankfurter Ring. The service there is fast and reliable. My racing team allows me to put together a new car once a year. I recently did that in the sales store at Motorworld. If things need to be done quickly, the store can also provide me with company and press vehicles.”

Your insider tips when it comes to traditional costumes:

Max Vela

Maximilian: “Bespoke tailor Max Vela makes wonderful traditional jackets, vests and jackets. If I don't find anything in our collection, I have it tailored there. Fabrics, buttons, piping, everything is customized there. We also send customers with special measurements there. A shop for demanding men!”

Bellas Munich

Birgit: “The Austrian Jeannette Mang makes really beautiful ballerinas in all shapes, be it pointed or round. I really like them because they go so well with dirndls. She offers great color combinations, which is particularly good for her tassel loafers. For example, there is the combination of pink with green and yellow; I love my tiger ballerinas too. Because the shoes are so beautiful, we have already created our own Munich manufacturer collection together with Jeannette Mang.”

Dog sans scho

Max and Birgit: “Maximilian Schmidt’s traditional costume shop is now opening in Glockenbach in April – we are happy to recommend it because we have been dealers from the very beginning. When Max came to us in 2018, he didn't even have a block of orders. He makes great blouse dresses, shirts, blouses and jackets for young traditional costume fans. Refined: The men's shirts are slightly tailored.

André Schulz hairdressing salon

“In Munich I go to André Schulz. The salon at Maximiliansplatz has an open design, you get a lot of city air, and the audience is cool. While André cuts and highlights my hair, I have a wonderful chat with him. He is spiritual and knows a lot about life - I always leave his salon with new insights. And he knows what’s popular in the city.”

Brvsh hairdressing salon

“The Brvsh salon – pronounced like English “Brush” – in Rosenheim is run by two guys who are a married couple: Daniel is a hairdresser and cuts excellently. He and I trained at the same hairdresser a few streets away. He is a relaxed artist type. Adrian is a career changer, has mastered the use of bleaching and does great balayages."

Make-up artist Jasmine De Cruz

“Jasmine used to be a banker – and one day she said: Well, now I’m changing careers! With success, she has now been to Paris Fashion Week twice. Her specialty is the juicy glow look, a very fresh, natural make-up style."

Andreas Gassner: Enjoyment in abundance

Andreas Gassner is a passionate butcher. He will soon be opening an AI butcher shop on the cattle farm: a shop with artificial intelligence at the checkout that sells meat and sausage specialties 24 hours a day. Here are his top three when it comes to enjoyment:

Feasting at the market

“Manfred Kneifel’s stand is a culinary gem of sausage and ham! There are specialties from northern Germany to Italy in the smallest of spaces. Sausage lovers like me are heartbroken: There's Bremer Pinkel, Ahle Wurscht, Speckwurst. I'm also a fan of the cooked sausage there. I could try it out forever!”

Fresh paradise

“I like to cook for my wife and my three patchwork children, so I enjoy buying fish and meat from all over the world. In the freshness paradise you can find unusual things like guanciale, or smoked pork cheek. Or quail, veal T-bone steaks, and all the fish on earth. The selection of risotto, pasta and cheese is incredible! Hobby chefs who want to try something new have come to the right place.”

Sevdas Feinkost

“There are lots of spreads here, but also ravioli, pasta and more. People are always lining up because the food is so popular. In addition, the waitresses are very nice. Either you take everything home with you or you sit at the maypole next door with your conquests and a beer.”
