. When staff searched his vehicle, he discovered he had
13 kilos of cocaine hidden in the stereo
.
It happened in the town of Pichanal. Hours later, in Cafayate, a truck driven by an older man had almost
54 kilos of drugs
hidden . Therefore, almost 67 kilos were seized in a few hours.
Both people were detained

The first of the procedures occurred on Monday morning, when members of the “Orán” Road Safety Section of Squadron 20 were alerted about
a vehicle that had crashed into a Gendarmerie post
, but that the driver had fled.
An operation was immediately launched and in the vicinity of the town of Pichanal, they managed to arrest him. With the help of "Nacha", a narcotics detection dog, the gendarmes were able to find
16 packages containing more than 13 kilos of cocaine
: they were hidden in the stereo and glove compartment of the crashed vehicle.
The Decentralized Prosecutor's Office of Oran intervened and, according to reports, ordered the seizure of all the drugs as well as the car and the arrest of the person involved.

In Cafayate, more than 50 kilos seized
Around 10 hours later, and at another point in Salta, there was another successful procedure with a vehicle that was trying to transport drugs illegally, which was detected.
It happened at the Route 68 checkpoint, at kilometer 8, in Cafayate. There, the gendarmes of said section - dependent on Squadron 45 Salta - stopped the march of a van occupied by an adult man, which was traveling towards the province of Buenos Aires.
Once again, the dogs were essential in finding the cocaine that was in the truck. The drugs, distributed in 70 bricks, were hidden in the vehicle's torpedo and on its sides. It had to be dismantled almost entirely.

The Narcotest field tests showed a positive result for cocaine, with a total weight of 53 kilos 761 grams.
The Salta Fiscal Unit ordered the seizure of the drugs and the truck; while the older man who was the driver was detained.
