In the midst of the wave of questions about the nomination of a figure as controversial as
Ariel Lijo
for the Supreme Court, President J
avier Milei
responded to an article that contained a scathing criticism against Judge Comodoro Py.
The text in question was written by
Alberto Benegas Lynch (h
), whom the head of state mentions as the greatest reference of Argentine liberalism in his speeches, and is titled "A telegraphic summary about President Milei."
The column, full of praise for the libertarian's management, contains a small dose of questioning and above all a remote-directed dart at the decision to nominate Ariel Lijo to the Court, evidently a thorny issue for the father of Argentine liberalism.
"I admit that I do not have the courage or the strength to criticize certain technical aspects of the administration that do not contribute to the very noble course established and the gratifying net balance of the government headed by President Milei," warns Benegas Lynch (h).
Lines below, he is direct: "I am alarmed that
some judge has been proposed who appears to be Alberdi's counterpart
," he launches in reference to Lijo, whom he decides not to name in the text that the President of the Nation replied, perhaps without having read in detail that the laudatory summary also contained an objection to his candidate to the Court.
The president retiuts Benegas Lynch's column that contains a criticism of Lijo.
