It's hard to imagine that just a year ago, this building on rue de Clignancourt (Paris 18th century) housed… a garage. And yet. Care Promotion transformed the site into 47 social housing units spread over two buildings, one of seven storeys and the other of four. Quite a challenge when you know that only the facade facing the street was equipped with windows. It was therefore necessary to imagine other sources of light. The result in apartments depends a lot on the building and the floor.
Another singularity: these housing will not be “social” indefinitely. They are managed by the Real Estate Agency of the City of Paris (RIVP) for fifteen years for some and twenty years for others. At the end of these periods, the owners, who purchased them at the time of construction of the site, will be able to occupy them with full rights. Or rent them, but obviously no longer at the same price.
