A heating system caught fire in a farmhouse in Ismaning shortly before midnight on Wednesday. The emergency services were on site quickly and had the situation under control immediately.
Ismaning
- Shortly before midnight on Wednesday, the Ismaning fire department received an alarm and deployed almost 40 people to a farm on the main road. In a former stable on the ground floor of the building, a fire and, above all, a lot of smoke had developed in the heating system. There are several apartments in the farmhouse. The owner's wife noticed it first and called the fire department.
Two squads took targeted action
This formed two teams, one to extinguish the fire and a second respiratory protection team to search the building. The fire and smoke were contained within a short time; ventilation took some time until the operation was ended after an hour and ten minutes. Two residents suffered minor injuries from the smoke. According to the fire department, the reason for the incident was a defect in the heating system.
