After the end of the ZF factory in Gelsenkirchen, the future of the Eitorf location is also sealed. This continues until the closure.
Friedrichshafen - The Swabian technology group ZF Friedrichshafen announced the end of its location in Eitorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) some time ago. So far, however, discussions and negotiations have been ongoing about the future of the plant without the participation of the company from Baden-Württemberg. ZF had already announced that it wanted to gradually reduce production until it was finally closed in 2027 and has now begun the measures. At

A few weeks ago, ZF Friedrichshafen officially confirmed the closure of the factory in Gelsenkirchen at the end of the year. However, a social contract was negotiated for the 200 employees in the Schalke district.
