The smallest district in Bavaria offers affordable building land prices and a wide range of leisure activities. Around 119,000 people live there.
Fürth - The Main-Taunus district is the smallest district in Germany in terms of area. 236,000 people live there on 222.39 square meters. In comparison: The smallest Bavarian district is Fürth. The Middle Franconian district has an area of 308 square kilometers, making it “the smallest among the 71 Bavarian districts,” as it says on the district’s website.

The Fürth district is located in the administrative region of Middle Franconia. It is located in the west of the metropolitan area of the cities of Nuremberg and Fürth. To the north and west lie the districts of Erlangen-Höchstadt and Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim. In the south and southwest are the districts of Ansbach and Roth.

According to the website, around 119,000 people currently live in 14 cities and communities in the Fürth district. “The character of the district changes from the east with its large and suburban development to agricultural areas in the center and west.
