A love story very different from that which the actress lives with the actor
Yvan Attal
. The two of them have, in fact, been in perfect love for 33 years! A difference that Émilie Tran Nguyen did not fail to highlight. To illustrate her point, the columnist then broadcast images of Yvan Attal, on the same set of “C à vous” who revealed, on September 13, that his partner and mother of his three children, had suddenly asked him to marry him.
“She proposed to me not so long ago, I’m not going to say more
,” he declared in the preamble before continuing.
“It was very strange, it came out suddenly and she said:
'I have something to say'
. And she said to me:
“I want to get married”
. And we still haven't gotten married, it's been a few months, we don't know if it's serious
,” the actor said on set.

Faced with the video, Charlotte Gainsbourg cannot help but make a doubtful pout.
“So, is it serious or not?”
, the columnist asks again at the end of the extract.
“Did we stop there?... No!”
, then replied the actress.
“This is the last news we had
,” explains Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine. The actress then made things clear.
“No, no, we haven’t gotten married since
,” she said, causing general laughter. The presenter then adds to lighten the atmosphere a little more:
“In any case, I thought it was great that you got down on your knees to propose to him. Even if it is no longer relevant, the gesture is sublime
. Charlotte Gainsbourg then says more about how things happened:
“I didn’t understand that we didn’t kneel, we put one knee on the ground.”
“Ah you put both?”
, laughed Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine.
“I said a kind of prayer,”
Charlotte Gainsbourg added with humor before adding:
“I don’t want to get married anymore. But it is not for lack of love, on the contrary, it is proof of love.”
“I wanted our mothers to come”
Charlotte Gainsbourg
Surprised by this response, Émilie Tran Nguyen asks again:
“But then why did you ask?”
“Because I wanted our mothers to come
,” replied the actress with a touch of emotion in her voice. A statement which cast a chill on the set because Jane Birkin, Charlotte Gainsbourg's mother, died on July 16.
“Ah I understand”,
reacted in turn the columnists present on the set.
“You see, no one wants to say anything anymore... So there you have it, but our life is very beautiful
,” concluded Charlotte Gainsbourg.
