Aitana Lopez has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram. However, this influencer does not exist. The young woman was entirely created by artificial intelligence (AI). This is the fruit of the imagination of the Spanish advertising agency The Clueless, for which it represents a considerable saving.
“We work with a real influencer who charges 12,000 euros per post. Aitana charges 1000 and something. It’s an abysmal difference
,” explains project manager Sofía Novales.
To design the influencer, the agency was inspired by cartoons and video games.

AI-generated influencers could soon see the light of day in France. The Parisian agency AD Crew, for example, is already developing a similar artificial intelligence project. Although she does not want to get rid of her real influencers:
“I see it as something complementary. Because we will never be able to put real human emotions on an AI, at least not right away
,” assures Maud Lejeune, director and co-founder of AD Crew.
