On May 10, 2024, ARD will show the last episode of “Who knows something like that?” Kai Pflaume and his team have to say goodbye to their evening slot, but why?
Hamburg – The ARD quiz show “Who knows something like that?” with Kai Pflaume (56) as presenter is very popular. From Monday to Friday, fans can watch a new episode of the format at 6 p.m. in which Bernhard Hoëcker (54) and Elton (53) compete against each other with a celebrity at their side. But it will soon be over because the show has to make way for another show.
“Who knows something like that?” is no longer on the ARD evening program for the time being
The ARD quiz formats are not well received by all viewers (especially in the crowd) - but the numbers speak for themselves, because “Who knows something like that?” regularly gives the public broadcaster top ratings. The quiz format reached an average of 3.312 million viewers in 2023 - very good values for an early evening program.

But on May 10, 2024, ARD will show what will be the last episode of “Who knows something like that?” From May 13th, “Gefragt – Gejagt” will be returning with new episodes on the first - and the station seems to be hoping for a lot, because the number of new episodes is higher than in previous years. Fans can look forward to a total of 95 new “Asked – Hunted” episodes, whereas, for example, only 60 new episodes were shown in 2021.
“So uncool”: That’s why Kai Pflaume stopped smoking
What many people don't know: Fitness fan Kai Pflaume smoked in the past. When the presenter saw himself in the mirror with a cigarette in his hand, he decided to stop. Because: “It looked so uncool that from that moment on I never touched a cigarette again.”
“Asked – Hunted” returns from break and replaces “Who knows something like that?”
But “Who knows something like that?” fans can breathe a sigh of relief: Kai Pflaume and his rate team are just saying goodbye for the summer break. “Asked – Hunted,” on the other hand, returns from her break. From May 13th, fans can look forward to new episodes of the ARD quiz show. But not everyone is there this year: the broadcaster announced that a “Asked – Hunted” star will not be seen in the new episodes.
