Kötz - A tragic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, April 4th, when a 48-year-old driver was driving on the connecting road between Bubesheim and Kötz. For reasons that are still unclear, she left the road at Leipheimer Weg, causing her vehicle to roll over and finally come to a stop lying on its roof. Despite the immediate help of first aiders and resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor, the woman succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene of the accident. That is what the police said.

“For the duration of the traffic accident investigation and the preservation of evidence, the connecting road was completely closed by forces from the Bubesheim and Großkötz volunteer fire departments, which temporarily caused traffic disruptions,” the police continued. The woman's vehicle was totally damaged, causing total damage of around 10,000 euros. The Günzburg police station has started investigating the accident and is asking any witnesses to the accident to call 08221/919-0.
