A supposed explosion in Bergham triggered a large fire brigade deployment, but quickly turned out to be a false alarm: an air hose had burst.
Bergham
- On Friday afternoon, April 5th, a large contingent of fire brigades, police, THW and emergency services were on the way to Bergham. At around 3:35 p.m. the emergency services were alerted to an explosion. It turned out to be a false alarm.
False alarm due to compressor hose: emergency services moved away again
As Florian Creator, commander of the Parsberg fire department, reports, a tenant heard a loud bang on the premises in Bergham and alerted the police. The reason for the bang was a compressor hose that was lying in the open and had torn due to sunlight, explained Creator.
The operation was over quickly: the Parsberg fire department, which arrived with 18 men and three cars, unplugged the defective air hose. No one was injured and no further damage was caused. The other alerted fire departments from Miesbach, who came with six cars, Wies, Irschenberg and Agatharied were able to leave after their arrival. The emergency services from the THW and the rescue service were also not needed.
