Apparently Kate Middleton did not voluntarily make her cancer public. It has now become known that Kensington Palace is said to have been blackmailed.
London – On March 22nd, Princess Kate (42) released an emotional video in which she made her cancer diagnosis public. It was initially assumed that her announced return after Easter was the reason for the video message. But now
Daily Mail
reports that the Royal Family was being blackmailed. An insider explains that Kensington Palace was contacted about Kate's diagnosis and had no choice but to share the news with the world themselves.
Not her decision? Princess Kate had to prevent cancer video revelation
Why did Princess Kate choose March 22nd to announce her cancer? There was a lot of speculation about the timing of Kate's shock message. After her abdominal surgery in January, it was initially announced that she would return to her royal duties after Easter. “I had major abdominal surgery in London in January and at the time it was thought not to be cancer. The operation was successful. However, post-surgery tests revealed that there was cancer,” Kate Middleton said in her video statement.

It was therefore clear that the schedule could not be adhered to. The start of the Easter holidays was also considered a further factor for the publication. This could have prevented Prince William (41) and Princess Kate's children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) from being confronted with their mother's cancer diagnosis at school. However, according to the insider, the timing had nothing to do with all the speculation.
Medical records were leaked – Princess Kate, who was suffering from cancer, had to pre-empt publication with her video
Princess Kate, on the other hand, is said to have been forced to publish the video - otherwise her cancer diagnosis might have become public in another way. Staff at the exclusive London Clinic are said to have attempted to access Kate Middleton's private medical records,
The Mirror
reported back in March. According to
a Daily Mail
source, Kensington Palace was then blackmailed - and had to react.

It is not known whether the mole works at the London Clinic or has another background. What is certain is that Princess Kate shared her diagnosis with the public and received a lot of support for it. However, the clip couldn't have been recorded too hastily, because Princess Kate's video is full of hidden messages.
