After the knife attack on a four-year-old girl in a supermarket in Wangen im Allgäu, a detention order was issued against the alleged perpetrator. The 34-year-old was taken to a psychiatric hospital for attempted murder in conjunction with grievous bodily harm, the police and public prosecutor's office said on Friday morning.
Wangen im Allgäu - The man, who has Syrian and Dutch citizenship, is suspected of having attacked and seriously injured the four-year-old with a knife in the supermarket in Baden-Württemberg on Wednesday afternoon. According to police, it was a sudden attack. dpa
