The ARD has now announced that in the future “Gefragt – Gejagt” viewers will have to do without a TV favorite, because a “hunter” wants to dedicate himself to his family and private projects.

Hamburg – The ARD quiz format with Alexander Bommes (48) as moderator has been delighting audiences since 2015. Over the years, real audience favorites have emerged among the “hunters”. The new season starts on May 13, 2024 at 6 p.m. on the first - but fans will have to do without a face in the show in 2024.

“Asked – Hunted” hunter takes “break from consultation hours”

“Quizduell-Olymp”, “Who knows something like that?” or “Gefragt – GeJagt” – the ARD has various quiz formats in its program, but not all viewers enjoy them. Nevertheless, “Gefragt – GeJagt” enjoys great popularity and regularly boasts strong ratings.

Despite the success, a “hunter” has decided not to take part in the upcoming season of the quiz show. “Quizdoktor” Thomas Kinne (63), who has been taking part in various guessing formats for over 30 years, would like to pause his work in the ARD format in 2024. “In 2024, the 'Quizdoktor' will take a short break from consultation hours at 'Gefragt - Gejagt' and devote himself to private projects. Nevertheless, he can still be seen as a member of the quiz elite in the repeats of 'Gefragt - Gejagt',” it says on the ARD website.

Dr. Thomas Kinne has been part of the “Hunter” team of “Gefragt – Gejagt” since 2018. He was born in Neuwied am Rhein in 1961 and today works, among other things, as an author and translator. His pastimes include collecting Asterix volumes. He is said to have over 1,300 copies of the popular comic in his possession in over 130 languages. The “quiz doctor” speaks several foreign languages.

profile. There, the “hunter” agrees with the ARD statement and says that he wants to take “a little family break” and dedicate himself to “a few private projects”. He also emphasizes that he is doing “great” and wishes his quiz colleagues much success. The “quiz doctor” will of course follow the new season on television.
