Even if she wasn't recognized, some people might have been quite surprised: a German A-list celebrity made a real embarrassment of herself at the hotel breakfast.
Mexico City - Always an amusing treat for the fans: Sarah Engels (31) and her husband Julian (30) have no problem making a fool of themselves in public - and then documenting it on social media. For example, their recent joint appearance in a MediaMarkt branch was special. And now there is another laugh to be admired via Instagram.

The singer went to beautiful Mexico with her family. And apparently had to pay off betting debts at the hotel. “Betting debts are debts of honor,” she writes with a laughing emoji. And then she shows what they consist of: She has to go to the hotel dining room with an extremely, extremely unusual accessory: diving goggles! “I always wanted to have breakfast with diving goggles on,” she writes.

Husband Julian's constant, spiteful laughter and stupid comments come for free as the family is led to their seat: “She loves swimming, you know. That's why she wears it all the time." Did anyone recognize the German top star? In Mexico, the risk of this is at least not as great. Even if: Sarah Engels wears the diving goggles with pride and composure. Just like Markus Lanz once lost his mustache after losing his bet.

The fans might find it funny. But they also discuss another Mexican outfit by Sarah Engels. She also spoke up with a short video posting. Her dress attracts a lot of attention in a positive way. “Great, where is that great dress?” and “Where did you get that dress from?” and “The dress!! Looks so good on you! Can I ask where you got it from?” and “Where is this beautiful dress from?” are the comments piling up.
But a look down reveals a detail that not everyone likes. “These shoes ruin the whole outfit,” one person wrote. Although she received more than 80 “likes” in twelve hours, she also received a lot of headwind. “Your clerk is messing up the whole post!” and “You don’t need to wear it, Sarah likes it and that’s the main thing!”, they say. But also: “I also think the shoes are terrible.” Sarah Engels will take it all in stride – she is simply enjoying the time in Mexico with her family and certainly also the attention. In an Edeka supermarket she recently made what was supposed to be the biggest mistake you could make there.
