A 15-year-old teenager is between life and death, after being violently attacked Thursday in Viry-Châtillon (Essonne). He was evacuated to Necker hospital (Paris) in the evening and his vital prognosis is in jeopardy, according to our information. A judicial investigation was opened for “attempted assassination” and “intentional violence in a meeting near a school”, announced the public prosecutor of Évry-Courcouronnes, Grégoire Dulin.
What happened ?
Firefighters and police were contacted shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday to come to the aid of a young man who had been violently attacked on Allée de Menton, reports a police source to Le Parisien. When firefighters arrived, the teenager was in a semi-conscious state, but later passed out. He was unable to say anything to the officers present on site.
Emergency services were called by a man who was driving through the area. The latter declares having seen a group of three people - wearing hoods, their faces hidden, dressed in dark clothes - running in the street, before discovering the young man's inanimate body further away. The witness then called emergency services and moved the teenager into a building hall so that he could be sheltered.

The principal of the Sablons college confirmed that the victim was a student at his establishment, which he had left at 4 p.m. that day, shortly before his attack. The college is located a few dozen meters from the scene of the attack. The head of the establishment added that the teenager had “no history of violence within the establishment”.
How is the victim?
According to statements from firefighters, the victim received many blows to the face, and has numerous bruises and redness on his body. As of Thursday evening, emergency services established that the young man's vital prognosis was in jeopardy. However, it appears that no weapon was used in the attack.
Late Thursday afternoon, the teenager had to be evacuated in critical condition to Necker hospital in Paris.
