Meeting followed by a crisis press conference, Wednesday at the headquarters of the Slovak National Party (SNS), a few hours before the suspension of the campaign. It was for the leaders of Robert Fico's national-populist government coalition to assure their support for their candidate, Peter Pellegrini, and to encourage voters to vote for him in the second round of the presidential election this Saturday. Or rather to vote against the candidate promoted by the opposition, Ivan Korcok.

coupled with an “
anti-Slovak candidate (…) serving foreign interests
”, warned the Prime Minister, Robert Fico, and Andrej Danko in turn. At the same time, Ivan Korcok, career diplomat and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, gathered a few thousand of his supporters...
