Feuchtwangen - A young motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in the Ansbach district. The 18-year-old tried to overtake a truck between Dentlein am Forst and Feuchtwangen on Wednesday morning, April 3rd, and collided with a car on the opposite lane, according to a police spokesman.

Fatal accident in Middle Franconia: Young motorcyclist dies
The 18-year-old was thrown onto the street and hit by another car. According to the spokesman, he died from his injuries at the scene of the accident. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, a 46-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The 59-year-old driver of the second vehicle was in shock, the spokesman added. A large contingent of rescue workers, including a crisis intervention team, responded to the scene.
