In the ARD quiz “Who knows something like that?”, many celebrities shone less with their knowledge, but caused a lot of laughter from the audience. But that was unpleasant for Bernhard Hoëcker.

The Hoëcker and Weiss team had to choose between “A: They spent months in a large nest in a tree”, “B: They lived with birds in their living room for years despite allergies” and “C: They only talked to themselves with chirping sounds for weeks”. .

Bernhard Hoëcker shook his head when showmaster Kai Pflaume asked the question. He tried to explain the question logically: “The idea is that you travel around and behave inconspicuously.” However, he did not believe that the author couple lived in a nest. His teammate Wincent Weiss tried to explain in a silly way what answer choice C might mean. He demonstrated everyday things with gestures and accompanied them with whistling sounds. After a few chirps, Hoëcker had enough. “I got it,” he shouted to his teammate.

“I'm trying desperately to ensure that this show meets the public broadcasting standard,” joked the entertainer, visibly desperate about his own cluelessness and the musician's lack of support. He probably preferred to shine with knowledge rather than entertainment. Despite the rather weak derivation, Weiss' demonstrative chirping was convincing enough. The guess team therefore logged in answer option C. However, answer B would have been correct: Magdalena and Oskar Heinroth had brought the birds into their living room.
