Gianna Nannini has celebrated international success as a rock and pop star, but at almost 70 she still wants to fulfill one wish: more children.
Milan - Gianna Nannini (69) is probably not giving any thought to quitting at the moment - on the contrary: she only released her new album "Sei nel l'anima" on the market at the end of March, which will also be followed by a tour of Germany in the winter. The Italo rock tube (“Bello e impossibile”, “Latin Lover”) also took its time in other respects. Sometimes involuntary – such as when having children: at the age of 56, she became a mother for the first time in 2010.

In November 2010, she finally had reason to be happy: her daughter Penelope was born. The 69-year-old, who has been happily in a relationship with her wife Carla for over 40 years, keeps her father a secret to this day.

Her daughter is currently 13 years old - and could soon have to share her mother with one or more siblings. Because as Gianna Nannini has now revealed, she wants “two or three more babies” for her 70th birthday. This is likely to cause debate not only in her home country of Italy, where her first, comparatively late motherhood brought unpleasant headlines with it.

However, the Italian doesn't want to be influenced by this. As early as 2010, she made it unmistakably clear that she could not understand and condemned the criticism of late motherhood.
