The Milan Art Week returns from Monday and for the sixth consecutive year among the protagonists of the Milanese week is Banca Generali, which will host the free opening of the PAC Pavilion of Contemporary Art throughout the day of Saturday 13 April.

But not only that, because during the Milan Art Week it will be possible to admire, in the headquarters of the BG Training & Innovation Hub in via Achille Mauri 2, part of the private collection of Banca Generali developed in the BG ArTalent project in favor of Italian artists of international standing who enriches this year with a new acquisition: Comizi di non amore - The prequel (Contestant n.3: Marianne Faithfull) by Francesco Vezzoli.

It is the portrait linked to one of Francesco Vezzoli's best-known works, Comizi di non-amore, conceived on the occasion of the Trilogy of Death exhibition (2004) at the Prada Foundation in Milan, inspired by two famous cinematographic works by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Comizi d 'Love (1965) and Salò or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975). On this occasion the work consists of a photographic reproduction of a portrait of the British singer and actress, symbol of Swinging London, on which Vezzoli intervened with metal thread embroidery.

"We are happy to support the Municipality of Milan for the sixth consecutive year in the most important initiative for art dedicated to the general public, on the eve of a reference institutional event such as miart. The Milan Art Week event has demonstrated in recent years knowing how to reach more and more enthusiasts, thanks to the creativity, initiatives and talent that it manages to express. In our small way, with the BG ArTalent project we have undertaken a path aimed at valorising Italian artists in the world, bringing back to our city some works that are not easily accessible

The objective is to stimulate food for thought and the comparison of ideas that only art can generate. For our company, the commitment to culture is combined with that to society, not only in the responsibility for the protection

of

family assets but also as a paradigm of sustainable growth for the community which also passes through valuable initiatives such as Milan Art Week which we hope will find ever greater success" declared Andrea Ragaini, deputy general manager of Banca Generali.
