A man aged around 30 was taken in by emergency services on Friday evening around 9:55 p.m., avenue de France in Massy (Essonne), after being attacked with a knife.
According to the first elements of the investigation, which was entrusted to the judicial police of Versailles (Yvelines), the victim was hit “at least nine times”, specifies a police source. The man was taken to Georges-Pompidou hospital (Paris) “in a very worrying state”. For the moment, nothing explains this outburst of violence and no arrests have yet taken place.
For several days, Essonne has experienced a surge in violence. Thursday March 28, a resident of Grigny aged 43 was killed in the hall of his building in Grande6Borne with around twenty stab wounds. At this stage, the origin of this homicide remains unknown. Two days later, still in the Grande-Borne district of Grigny, an 18-year-old boy was also stabbed. He was transported, “between life and death”, to the Georges-Pompidou hospital with a punctured lung. The two facts would have no connection between them.
