From the fight for Italian citizenship to the European boxing title: Pamela Malvina Noutcho Sawa, of Bolognina Boxe, is the new European champion Ebu Silver, lightweight, defeating the British Jordan Baker Porter, at the Paladozza in Bologna.

Born in Cameroon, Pamela Malvina, 32 years old, has lived in Italy since she was eight years old but only in 2022, after a long bureaucratic process, did she receive citizenship, with the oath in front of the mayor of Bologna Matteo Lepore. She works at the Maggiore hospital as a nurse. In September you won the Italian title.

After being reunited with her father who had left his country for study and work, she spent her childhood and adolescence in Perugia, then moved to Bologna, where she graduated in Nursing Sciences and where, during an internship in a reception center for the homeless, inside which there was a small gym, he discovered his passion for boxing. Last night the European dream came true. 

"We are very satisfied for our Pamela, a nurse from the Maggiore hospital: she fought and won the European championship. We were rooting for her, she gave us great satisfaction and emotion", said the general director of the ASL of Bologna, Paolo Bordon.
