After the death on Friday of the schoolboy beaten the day before in Viry-Châtillon, several avenues are being studied by investigators from the Judicial Police (PJ). The latter seek to establish both the motive and the circumstances of the tragedy. On Friday, four minors and an adult were taken into custody in this case which shook the entire city.

the hypothesis of inter-district rivalry was also explored, but, from the start of the hearings, it appeared that this wasn't really the case. Then the possibility of a romantic quarrel emerged. By deduction, it is the most plausible.
“The sister of one of the accused”
Another police source also agrees.
“However, we should clarify the profile of this young woman, to better understand the ins and outs of this affair of the heart. In particular, the question arises as to whether this young girl comes from a very practicing Muslim family or not. And if, in particular, the fact that she could see this boy posed a problem”
, we are told, specifying that, for the moment,
“any hypothesis is possible”

In particular that of a purely gratuitous lynching.
“We must not deny ourselves the idea that the young man was assaulted because he was serious and clashed with the rest of the class. Even if, for the moment, the most likely avenue remains that of a romantic conflict
,” adds this same source, emphasizing that the young stranger who would potentially be at the origin of this fight would be

As we write these lines, nothing has been proven and the public prosecutor of Évry, Grégoire Dulin, has called for vigilance.

Investigation opened for assassination
The drama unfolded late in the afternoon. The schoolboy, Shamseddine, was coming out of music class. It was 4 p.m. When, suddenly, several hooded youths threw themselves at him and beat him. It was a motorist who, seeing individuals rushing out of an alley, turned around and discovered the young man, unconscious,

Transferred to Necker hospital, the teenager died on Friday from his injuries. An investigation was therefore opened for “assassination and violence in meetings near a school”, indicated Grégoire Dulin.
