The organizers of the popular “Wine Festival at Peterstirn” are daring to do something new: the first alcohol-free wine festival in Germany.
Schweinfurt - “Together we write history. Sober.” This is the promise made by the organizer of the popular “Wine Festival at Peterstirn”. The event, organized every year by the Dahms winemaking family, has an alcohol-free offshoot. It is “the first alcohol-free wine festival in Germany,” writes the organizer on its website.

No alcohol is served at the branch of the wine festival in Schweinfurt
The whole thing is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 9th, one day before the opening of the Spring Wine Festival at St. Peter's Forehead. The location: The vineyards of the Dahms winery in Schweinfurt. “A location that will enchant you, even without alcohol,” promise the organizers. Anyone looking for alcohol will be disappointed. In fact, there will only be non-alcoholic drinks at the event: soft drinks, juice, coffee, water, etc. And of course non-alcoholic wines and Franconian delicacies.

Organizer: “Be aware that socializing can also work sober”
“Many people are looking for alternatives to alcoholic drinks,” write the organizers. That's exactly what it's about: not taking away alcohol completely, but creating great alternatives. “Be aware that socializing also works when you’re sober.”
Ticket sales for the non-alcoholic wine festival start in April. You can already make a reservation on the organizers' website. The whole thing is scheduled to take place on May 9th, with planned entry at 5 p.m. and expected end at 11 p.m. The (alcoholic) wine festival at Peterstirn takes place from May 10th to 13th.
