Markus Söder is causing a stir with his latest video. Many people are amused by this, but one fan jumps to the CSU boss's side.
Munich – The weather in Bavaria is slowly getting better. After storms, thunderstorms and the threat of tornadoes, it will be summery in Bavaria for the weekend (April 6th/7th). This draws many people out into nature - including Prime Minister Markus Söder. He'll probably get on his bike. “I've been passionate about cycling since I was a teenager. It's just a great way to get some exercise and clear your head. What is your favorite sport?” he asks his followers.
Söder posts a video compilation on Instagram: Music by Queen
Seen in the video: Old and new pictures of Söder on the bike - sometimes in action, sometimes with a helmet next to Thomas Gottschalk, sometimes at the lake or in front of a pasture. He chose “Bicycle Race” by Queen as the background music for the video. “Queen doesn’t deserve that,” a young man commented on Söder’s post.

“The advertising master from Bavaria”: Söder video amuses fans
“No meme page can compete against this account,” one person wrote. “Mr Söder, I find your profile extremely amusing!” Some even draw comparisons to another person who is currently attracting attention. “The advertising master in real”, “The advertising master from Bavaria” or “The Maggus. Now on the road as advertising master,” they joke. The “advertising master” is an 18-year-old who travels all over Germany to report illegal parking. And another person tagged Söder directly in the comments and asked: “Doesn’t anyone on your team really tell you how embarrassing that is!?”
Söder receives praise: “Markus, you’re great!”
“As if the answer really matters. “It has narcissistic traits,” criticizes someone. Very few people answer the actual question. However, the negative or amusing comments are not well received by everyone: “I am ashamed of the embarrassing comments here. Markus, you are great! Keep it up,” someone praises the CSU boss. The post received at least 6,500 likes in less than 24 hours
