Racist comments lead to a violent confrontation on the street in Munich. The police are looking for the fleeing perpetrators.
Munich – There was a violent argument on the street in Munich on Thursday, March 28th, around 8:00 p.m. A 39-year-old man, who was accompanied by a 41-year-old woman, and a 42-year-old man were involved. All three people live in Munich. The Munich police reported this in a press release on Sunday, April 7th.
Racist hostility – unknown people arrive and the situation escalates
During the verbal argument, the 39-year-old made racist comments towards the 42-year-old. This incident attracted the attention of two to three previously unknown male perpetrators who approached the situation. As a result, there was a physical altercation between the unknown perpetrators and the couple.

The 41-year-old woman was so seriously injured by a punch from one of the unknown perpetrators that she had to undergo surgery. The perpetrators fled after the incident. An uninvolved witness who observed the incident then alerted the Munich police. Despite immediately initiated searches, the unknown suspects have not yet been located.
Police are looking for unknown perpetrators – appeal to the public for witnesses
The injured woman was taken to hospital by emergency services. Commissariat 44 took over the further investigation.
The perpetrators are described as male, around 20 to 30 years old and with dark skin. The Munich police are asking witnesses who made observations in the area of Krüner Strasse, Fernpaßstrasse and Ohlstadter Strasse (Untersendling) during the period mentioned that could be connected to the incident to come forward. Any relevant information can be given to the Munich Police Headquarters, Commissariat 44 on 089/2910-0 or to any other police station.
