Ansbach - Early on Sunday morning, April 7th, three men apparently randomly attacked two passers-by in downtown Ansbach and seriously injured them. This was announced by the Middle Franconian police. The trio's arrest required the use of a long-range electrical impulse device known as a Taser due to their violent resistance, which left two police officers injured.

At around 3:10 a.m., passers-by discovered a 42-year-old man unconscious on the sidewalk on Karolinenstrasse and alerted the police. The man had significant injuries to his face and reported that he had been knocked down and brutally kicked by three unknown men. Due to his serious head and facial injuries, he had to be taken to hospital for further medical treatment.

The 26-year-old also had to be treated in hospital for his injuries.
