“Tatort” star Peter Sodann has died at the age of 87. In his honor, ARD is now changing the program and showing the actor again in the role in which he will be remembered by fans.
Berlin – From 1992 to 2007, Peter Sodann (†87) appeared in “Tatort” as Inspector Bruno Ehrlicher. In 45 episodes he investigated with Bernd Michael Lade (59) alias Kain in Dresden and Leipzig. It has now been announced that the actor has died. The ARD reacts to this with a change to the program.

On April 7th, his family announced that Peter Sodann had fallen asleep peacefully. The death announcement also has an impact on the TV program. ARD is broadcasting an old “Tatort” episode in memory of the late TV star.
At 11:35 p.m. the first shows “Tatort: The Trap” unscheduled. In it, Peter Sodann made his last appearance as a TV investigator. The drama “Everyone is talking about the weather” was actually planned to be broadcast in 2022. However, the broadcaster now announces that this will be “broadcast at a later date”.

In his role as Bruno Ehrlicher in “Tatort: Die Trap”, Peter Sodann is actually close to retirement, but the murder of a woman overshadows the end of his service. “A woman is found strangled in a new housing development in Leipzig. Just a few days later, Hans Meier, the building contractor for most of the neighborhood's houses, is also dead. A trail leads Ehrlicher (Peter Sodann), who is about to retire, to Eva Sauer (Julia Brendler). “She is the new girlfriend of his partner Kain (Bernd Michael Lade),” says the teaser text on tvmovie.de.

ZDF recently changed its program for the late Fritz Wepper (†82) and showed an old “Dream Ship” episode. The actor died on March 25th in a hospice in Upper Bavaria. Fritz Wepper's heartfelt wish was fulfilled in his last days.
