A huge rally is being held tonight (Sunday) in Jerusalem, on the half year since the October 7 attack, and half a year since 133 hostages have been held captive by Hamas in Gaza. There are tens of thousands of Israelis there, including the families of the abductees, survivors of captivity and well-known public figures. Actor Lior Ashkenazi hosts the rally.

19-year-old Itai Regev from Herzliya, a prisoner survivor who was released in a deal at the end of last year and the brother of Mia Regev who was also kidnapped and released, spoke. "My sister was released after 50 days in hell, I was released after 54 days. We came back alive but not whole. We are here together to tell you a little about what fear is. It is fear that my sister Mia told me that she was so afraid that they would know that we were brothers because she was afraid that they would kill me , and leave her alive or the other way around, just for the joke. Fear of the morning because it's another day in hell. Fear of disappearing forever in the dark, being alone, cut off from the world."

"Hamasniks are trying to convince the abductees that the state has given them up. On behalf of our brothers and sisters, I want to ask our leaders - is this true? Did you give them up? The terrorists are not lying? We would be happy for an answer, before the break if possible," added Regev.

17-year-old Agam Goldstein, a survivor of captivity who was also released in a deal at the end of November, spoke and said that during captivity she often thought about who and the mother were fighting for her return. "I wondered who the people are dealing with my release, and you are these people, a large part of them. And because the eyes still see the destruction there, they still see the six terrorists who held me there, I thank you."

"The abductees told me to tell you - 'Agam, don't let them forget us' with desperate, frightened and helpless faces. Their faces and theirs are worn by me against the background of reality here in Israel. I stand here now and speak, and silence around me, silence around you. There was not a single boom In which we felt that it might be the last moment. There was no sound in which we looked at each other for a moment with a paralyzed body and a helpless face. And there - we lived the end, we lived the last moments, we lived the fear, the life of the dead. All this, 50 days. And they are already half A year in another world - 184 days that never end."

Later in the rally, mothers of abductees who were murdered in captivity spoke. Hagit Chen, the mother of the abducted Itai Chen whose body is being returned by Hamas said that "the State of Israel did not protect you Itai, did not watch the disaster, and when it already happened it did not send you reinforcements and did not save you. And it still does not save you. How is it possible that after six months They didn't bring you back? That's how they abandoned you, they abandoned me. A mother who sent her son to the army with such great pride. The State of Israel will only have resurrection and restoration when all the abductees are returned alive for rehabilitation and the dead for burial."

Yael Ader, the mother of the abducted Tamir Ader, whose body is being held in Gaza: "184 days we have not taken time to mourn for Tamir, for his friends who were murdered, for children who were murdered, for my friends who were murdered, we are still on October 7, we are still promiscuous, experiencing pain and loss, We are living in destruction and devastation that those responsible for it are still floundering and not bringing to an end the difficult event in the history of Israeli society and to an outline that will restore everyone, everyone."

Hagai Lober, the father of Elisha Yonatan Lober, who fell in the battle in Gaza about four months ago during searches of buildings to search for the abductees, said "Many people told me thank you to Jonathan, and one said to me a wonderful expression 'Thank you for Yonatan'. I say to you dear families - thank you, Thank you for voicing this wonderful voice of mutual guarantee. And what is a guarantee if not hundreds of thousands of soldiers who are willing to step in the place of the kidnapped? Who are willing to risk themselves for the kidnapped."

Lover added that "I have three sons. If there is a small chance that any of them can enter Gaza again and save our brothers, our loved ones, whom we miss and love, or to save a body and bring it to the grave of Israel. I tell you that I will send them away, this is A guarantee. This is not a tribal guarantee, it is not a party guarantee, it is a mutual guarantee, each and every one of this nation."
