- Dancers, a children's dance group and the prince couples from the Starnberg carnival society Perchalla delight young and old during the carnival season. But what looks so easy, buoyant and happy is hard work “behind the scenes”. The board informed its members about this at the general meeting on Thursday evening. President Andreas Denk led the evening cheerfully with his usual enthusiasm and welcomed the members as well as the honorary presidents Rosi Hofmann and Robert Weiß and honorary member Trude Weiß. In addition to the carnival events and performances, which were reported on by the second president Tobias Schlott, the third president Florian Krapfenbauer and youth speaker Andreas Ferzandi, there is the monthly flea market that takes place on the sports field in Percha. New events were also added.

“Everyone had a lot of fun,” emphasized Andreas Denk, “who stopped by the training camp for children and adults.” This year, the Guard and the entire youth block were in the KJR Deggendorf accommodation in Plattling. The “One Million Dollar Girls” training camp was in Zorneding on the same weekend. Denk assured that “he always likes to take the time to visit everyone for interesting and funny conversations.” These training camps not only consolidate choreography, but also group cohesion.

Tobias Schlott now reported on the Guard's numerous internal and external appearances with the prince couples and "One Million Dollar Girls", which were organized and moderated by Honorary President Robert Weis. A special highlight was the appearance in Gauting at the CSU's New Year's reception. “We stood at the reception of Interior Minister Joachim Hermann and were then able to show our great program on stage. The Minister of the Interior as Black Sheriff was very enthusiastic, especially when he received the annual medal from the Prince and Princess. There were around 32 appearances, including a large one in the BMW Park for the Herrsching volleyball team, at the Fassl carnival, women's carnival in Seefeld, and the Würmtal carnival procession , guard meetings, children's balls, water lily ball, sweepstakes.

Touching moments in the hustle and bustle

The third president, Florian Krapfenbauer, highlighted “Starnberg moves” as particularly successful. However, November 11th was a special joy. with the enthronement in the reopened Schlossberghalle. There was a prince's get-together with lots of fun at the Feldafing lido, a particularly successful children's ball in Söcking and the awarding of the Order of the Water Lily as part of the Garderevue, at which the Perchalla guards and guest guards performed. “The sea of cell phone lights during the dance of the little and big prince couple at the sweep in Percha was particularly close to me,” he sums up. “The different places bring the tradition of carnival to the area,” said Krapfenbauer, “carnival is celebrated in Starnberg, Söcking and Percha.”

Finally, youth speaker Andreas Ferzandi reported that the youth block consisted of 32 children and nine coaches. They made 30 appearances this season, three of which were particularly representative.
