Things got particularly hot in Puchheim this Saturday: A man set his neighbor's hedge on fire while doing garden work.

Puchheim - In the summer temperatures, many will have worked outside in the garden. A man from Puchheim overstepped the mark: instead of destroying weeds, he destroyed his neighbor's hedge.

The 59-year-old used a so-called weed burner. He apparently got too close to the hedge and set it on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished before the fire department arrived. But you can't call it a trivial matter.

The police estimate the damage caused at around 1,500 euros.
