The terrorist Walid Deka, who kidnapped and murdered the soldier Moshe Tamm in 1984, and a veteran of the security prisoners, died today (Sunday) after suffering from cancer for the past year. About a year ago, Deka applied through his lawyer for early release due to his poor health and his request was rejected.
Ortal Tamm, the niece of the soldier Moshe Tamm told Walla: "My uncle's killer chose to take his life with severe torture and after the murder he continued to torture my family, engage in terrorism and torture the entire Israeli people. We fought a lot so that he would not be released early, the fruits of the struggle are ripe - My uncle's killer died while locked up in prison, sick and poor. Just like the subhuman he is. This is a victory for my family and for the entire nation of Israel."
