B472 near Peiting West: Accident escape after collision between motorcycle and car - motorcyclist injured, car continues driving.
Peiting - On Saturday, April 6th, around 4 p.m., according to the Schongau police station, a motorcyclist was driving on the B472 from Hohenpeißenberg towards Schongau. At the Peiting West exit, the motorcyclist was met by a car that drove left over the solid line in the opposite direction onto the exit lane in B17 / Peiting Füssener Straße.
This resulted in a collision between the motorcycle and the car. There was probably damage to the right rear area of the car. The motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital by emergency services.
After the accident, the driver of the car continued driving without stopping.
The fleeing vehicle is a lime yellow/mint green car. Witnesses to the traffic accident are asked to contact the Schongau police station on 08861/2346-0.
