These elements of the skeleton were discovered near the place where part of Émile's skull was found at the end of March, as well as the clothes that the child was wearing on the day of his disappearance. The bones were located less than two kilometers from the hamlet of Haut-Vernet and analyzes reveal that they were left exposed to the open air, without being buried.

, analyzes of these new bones are underway at the Criminal Research Institute of the National Gendarmerie (IRCGN) in their premises in Pontoise (Val-d'Oise). The IRCGN experts left Haut-Vernet between Saturday and Sunday, believing that they had reached the end of what they could achieve on the ground.
The discovery of the skull and some clothes of little Émile certainly gives some indications, but nothing still allows us to explain how this two and a half year old boy disappeared and then died at the beginning of July, in a tiny hamlet in the Alpes-de-France. Haute-Provence.
