The civil trial surrounding the voted-out ex-board of the Hohenlinden Warrior and Reservist Association has come to an abrupt end. Just a few hours before another hearing at the Munich II Regional Court, the defendant, 58, informed the presiding judge of his acknowledgment. With this he gives out all the requested utensils.

Hohenlinden – The internal dispute between the Hohenlinden Warrior and Reservist Association has ended. Yesterday morning, just a few hours before another trial date at the Munich II Regional Court, the defendant ex-board member informed the court of a so-called acknowledgment. The former boss thereby agreed to release the club stamp and member data set as well as the club bell.

The former board member was voted out

The 58-year-old was voted out of office in February last year. There had previously been many disagreements among the members. The last straw was his absence from the 150th anniversary celebrations two years ago and the allegedly unauthorized ordering of 20 wooden beer mats, which he is said to have distributed not among his comrades, but to political dignitaries.

During the trial, the 58-year-old tried to wrap presiding judge Marcus Preißinger around his finger. But that failed, as did the attempt to tamper with the club register.

Companionship could have collapsed

The statement of claim listed important things as well as a lot of minor things. For example, the ex-boss is said to have never used the club bell. But what was more crucial for the club was the digital club program with the all-important member data. Because the new boss couldn't get into the database because he didn't have a password. That's why he couldn't cancel the computer subscription, which cost the club a three-digit amount every year. The new board started practically from scratch. The camaraderie could have collapsed.

But now that everything calms down, the old membership base can finally be compared with the new lineup and work can be done properly.
