Cyclists celebrate the beginning of spring. Although there are hardly any insider tips for cycling tours between Munich and Bad Tölz anymore, we have unearthed a real highlight in the south of Munich for you.

In the south of Munich there is a real gem for cyclists that is still considered an insider tip. This varied tour not only offers wonderful landscapes, but also exciting cultural highlights along the way. The route begins in Deisenhofen, where you cycle along the railway tracks and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gleißental, which once served as a backdrop for opera performances.

Cycling route with tradition

After reaching the forest, the route leads through picturesque mixed forests and past the idyllic St. Anna Chapel, where the St. Anna Festival is celebrated annually. We continue through the charming hamlets of Klein- and Großeichenhausen, which convey Bavarian history with their chapels and traditional distilleries.
