The results of the new study on young people and reading by the National Book Center (CNL), revealed by

, are worrying. 16-19 year olds spend 1h25 per week reading compared to 5h10 per day on screens.

In this study carried out among 1,500 young French people aged 7 to 19, interviewed from January 25 to February 2, 2024, we discover the extent of the problem. The diagnosis comes down to one word: screen.

“There is now an addictive confinement with digital technology. We can talk about drugs, and in that, a new opium war. »
