- On Sunday around 1:45 p.m., a 31-year-old woman from Munich was driving her VW on State Road 2340 in the direction of Föhringer Ring. There she turned around despite the solid line and then continued driving in the opposite direction, reports the police.
Munich man in the Volvo behind the woman can no longer brake or avoid
However, a 54-year-old from Munich was driving his Volvo behind the young woman in the VW. When the VW driver braked and turned, he was no longer able to avoid a collision, the police report. Both were injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital by emergency services.
State Road 2340 in the southwest direction closed for two hours
The vehicles were significantly damaged. State Road 2340 had to be closed in a southwesterly direction for about two hours. There were traffic disruptions. The Munich traffic police have taken over the further investigation.
