The youth are the pride of the Reichertshausen shooting club. Because the number of young shooters is constantly increasing, a youth king was chosen for the first time this year.

Reichertshausen

– Two royal titles were awarded this year at the Reichertshausen shooting club: In addition to the shooting king, a youth king was crowned for the first time. The reason is the constantly increasing number of young shooters - twelve young players under the age of 18 are currently measuring their accuracy at the shooting range. And the response is likely to continue. The most important thing for this is to purchase a light rifle in which accuracy is not demonstrated with ammunition, but only with an optical beam. Since this device can also be used by children under ten years of age, it is hoped that this will give the small club, which currently has 88 members, a further boost.

At the closing ceremony, master marksman Hans Bauer was very satisfied with the positive development. The season also went smoothly with 17 shooting evenings. Bauer was particularly pleased with the result of the team, which is only taking part in the round-robin competition in the Gauliga Hallertau in its second season - with great success. After promotion in the “founding year”, the team is back at the top ahead of Osseltshausen, Enzelhausen, Puttenhausen and Rudelzhausen/Kirchdorf. This means that promotion to the B class is guaranteed again. The team includes Christina Kratzl, Veronika Gräber, Luka Sittenauer, Verna Bauer, Michael Wieand, Tom Heigl and Michaela Schachtner.

And then the tension was great. The crucial question was: Who will be “Kini 2024” and represent the club at the anniversary events in the Hallertau district, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year? It is Simone Sachsenhauser who scored 228.7. There was great cheer in the community center when the new shooting queen received the necklace from last year's winner Michael Wieand. Second place went to Hans Braun with a 243-part, third place was Verena Bauer with a 325.3-part. In Reichertshausen, the “Kini” is still determined in the good old tradition with just one shot at the king’s target.

The same system was also used at the youngsters' “Kini Shooting Premiere,” in which eleven participants vied for three candy chains. Tobias Elfinger aimed most precisely, securing the title of “Youth King” with a score of 263.8, just ahead of Korbinian Sittenauer (268.6). Jakob Sachsenhauser came third with a 340-piece.
