For the expert, the high temperatures this weekend are also the effects of climate change. “These are clear indications,” said Köckritz. In addition, February and March this year were significantly warmer than the long-term average.

On Monday (April 8th) the meteorologists from the German Weather Service expect temperatures between 22 and 26 degrees, on Tuesday (April 9th) it will cool down a bit to 16 to 20 degrees - or close to the usual temperatures in April.
