A cruel serial killer was up to mischief in the Munich “crime scene”. He was portrayed by an actor who is no stranger to the German TV landscape.
Munich - The chief inspectors Ivo Batic (played by Miroslav Nemec) and Franz Leitmayr (portrayed by Udo Wachtveitl) are faced with a puzzle in the current “Tatort: Look at Me”. A female torso is found in a sewer beneath Munich Central Station. The perpetrator unknown. During their investigation, Batic and Leitmayr come across disturbing violent videos and it becomes clear that the cases are connected.
Munich “Tatort” is not for the faint of heart – strong TV ratings on Sunday evenings
The 95th case of the successful duo Nemec and Wachtveitl is not for the faint of heart; some viewers even switched off early due to scenes that were too brutal. Nevertheless, the ARD “Tatort” from the Bavarian capital once again attracted several million people to their TV screens.
But it wasn't just the plot of the crime thriller that thrilled the TV audience, the actors were also convincing. The Berlin-born actor Sammy Scheuritzel embodied the cruel serial killer sought by the investigators. The 25-year-old is no stranger to the German TV landscape. Scheuritzel celebrated his feature film debut in 2009, at the age of eleven. At that time he was seen as Choking, Snorre's son, in “Wickie and the Strong Men” by director Michael “Bully” Herbig (55).

In the years that followed, Sammy Scheuritzel appeared in other well-known productions. In 2010 in the film “Teufelskicker”, in 2015 and 2017 in two episodes of the ZDF series “The Criminalist”, in 2016 in the literary adaptation “Tschick”. Later he was also seen in the crime series “Morden im Norden”, “SOKO Köln” and “Letzte Spur Berlin”.

Scheuritzel also appeared in the Netflix productions “Dark” and “Black Island”. Most recently he took on the role of the young festival founder Holger Hübner in “Legend of Wacken”. Another former “Tatort” star died at the age of 87, and ARD responded by changing its program.
