Two motorcycle accidents near Lenggries: Three injured - 20-year-old from Valley awaits report
According to the police report, the first accident occurred on Friday (April 5) around 2:15 p.m.: A 68-year-old Austrian wanted to turn his motorcycle on the Töl 24 district road in the direction of Hinterriß, just before the state border. He fell because his motorcycle slipped on the shoulder. The Austrian was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a suspected leg fracture.
The second traffic accident involving a motorcyclist happened on the same day around 6 p.m. on the B307 in the Vorderriß area: a 20-year-old from Valley lost control of her two-wheeler in the area of a right-hand bend. She skidded across the road and into a 23-year-old Austrian who was driving his motorcycle in the opposite direction on the federal highway.
Both motorcyclists sustained abrasions in the collision. They went to the doctor themselves. Both motorcycles were no longer roadworthy. The 20-year-old from Valley is now awaiting charges of negligent bodily harm.
